Dr. Henderson is originally from Atlanta, GA. He completed his Bachelor​'s degree from the University of Georgia. He completed his Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Doctorate from the University of Memphis. He completed his predoctoral training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and his postdoctoral training at SC Department of Juvenile Justice. He is a Board certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator and Board certified Child Custody Evaluator.

Dr. Henderson has been in private practice since 2005 with a focus on individual and family counseling and psychological testing. He has focused almost exclusively on forensic family work since 2018. He provides Court related Psychological Evaluations, Parental Fitness Evaluations, Parental Alienation Evaluations, and Child Custody Evaluations. He has been entered as an Expert Witness for Court testimony throughout the state of South Carolina. He has also provided consultation services and work product reviews for family law firms.
